i liked the old ridgebacks - not the most sporty but well made for the price. Like Dawes of the same era they seemed to suffer from lack of proper/effective advertising campaigns compared to the US counterparts which were not appreciably better per se. Anyone remember the lime green tange prestige model, xt groupset with halson inversion forks and tioga psycho butterscotch tyres from '95? ace looking bike
