First bike I remember was a Raleigh Striker (yellow with the front mudguard turned inside itsself to make it sound like a motorbike ) Next one I remember was a Sun Solo then a MBK race bike.

First MTB was a Claud Butler Spirit, which got nicked and Uni and replaced by a DB Apex which I kept until selling it only last year. This only happened as I replaced it with a Cannondale Prophet and also got into roading (yes, I know). Now the proud owner of a Trek 2300 and a freshly painted (and almost rebuilt) Trek 5500 USPS.

Still love cycling, just not getting wet through or particularly muddy any more :roll:

Started racing in 93' aged 13. Not so much nowadays....
Worked in bike shops from age 15 till the present day (18 years!!!!) so worked on and sold many many types and brands. Poor but happy and never paid full price for a bike or components ;-)

First 'MTB' in 1988 aged 12. After several upgrades I got my first proper mountain bike two years later.
I've been hooked on riding bikes since before that and hopefully always will be.

Started mountain biking at 18 and, little did I know at the time, but I must have been somewhat of a pioneer...

35, had most of the classic bikes as a kid, Budgie, Commando, Grifter, Burner, Chopper etc (all hand me downs).

Had a few mountain bikes but never been into it much... I'm going out a lot more since I got my San Andreas I think I've got the bug now.

Several bmx's led to an 'ATB' in '88, which in turn led to a proper mountain bike in 1990.
Got quite ill in 94, so took a sabbatical for ten years. Bought myself a mid 90s GT in 2004 as none of the modern stuff flicked my switch.
The rest is history

32 & 3/4...

Started with a 2nd hand Raleigh Mirage when I was 14 then blagged a Proflex 856 off my dad's friend at about 17. Only really got into proper riding after moving to the Cotswolds almost a couple of years ago then retro about a year ago.
