Tbh i thought the BB-M730 was used during the mid-80s to around 1991 but was uncertain but the UN-72BB i was fairly confident was between 91-92 when it came into use as i'm pretty certain i'd read about it when it came out but it looks like i wasn't as accurate as i thought ..

According to Velobase the BB-M730 was used between 1987 and 1991. The famous UN-72 BB only appears in the Shimano catalogues from 1992 onwards.
