amongst the latest ones to clean up for the charity is a Scott solution tigua
now I have to maximise profit for them ,and don't want this to go for the usual £40 bso price
what's it worth if I put some better original cantilevers on it ?

I actually sold this with seized seat post £50 to the local kids scrapstore

I spent 2 hours scrapping the crud from the deraillier and cranks and a whole can of gt,and fitted as better seat ,will be worth it when I hand over the cash

Hi, I was over the Lakes yesterday and spoke to a guy at Biketreks and he recommended I try on this forum...
I have an Amp Research B3 which is owned by my Dad, he can no longer ride it and it has been sitting in his garage for some time.
As far as I remember at this present time its loaded with retro XTR kit including XTR 8spd rapid fire, XTR Brakes (Cantilevers) XT rear derailleur, STX chain rings (I think).
Wheels are XTR hubs but not sure on the rims.
It also has the Amp linkage fork. Cannot remember what the headset, seat post and handlebars were but will check when over next.
Think its about a 1993 - 94 (has the oval down-tube) The donor bike was a Giant Carbon Fibre (Cadex CFM1?) I remember that at the time you couldn't buy the AMP bike just the frame and forks and XC full suspension bikes were a new thing.
If anyone can give me an idea of price and in the mean time I will go over and have a further scout take some photos and further details.
It is in very good condition and I would keep it but don't have the space
