Definitely interested in your fried equipment. PM me some pics and what you would like for the individual items - there should be 8 emitter load resistors in the 960. If four are fried, it could be just one channel but some blown PSU fuses so neither channel now works. Four fried probably means four OP trannies are toast too!

hi, looking for a amplifier to drive a set of kef carina ii's which i just bought off ebay. Really nice speakers and good price. I have a rotel ra 931 amp, currently connected to them, which makes them sound a little bright, bass response is okish. So looking for something more powerful and better suited to the kef speakers

I finally got a cd player sorted (sony cdp 761e) and it sounds really nice through the kef speakers with the rotel amo. so is it down to the source not the amp
