Monitor Audio RS6 speakers in Light oak.

Lovely condition floor standers. Have the usual real wood fading where the grills have been on.

There is a minor repair to the underside of one of the plinths where a new threaded insert was required for 1 foot. You would never know it’s there.

There bridging bars were replaced many years ago with speaker cables. The bridges have gone walk about but the cables are included

Fully boxed with grills, bungs, spikes etc.

Hi all -Mr Big Cheese and other experts. My daughter has been into vinyl (records, not clothing) for a long time. She's into 60s and 70s music and likes the sounds. Her twin is also buying the odd LP which is odd as he has no means of playing them!
I have taken pity and found the following Christmas presents:

Cambridge Audio A3i Amplifier.
Sony PS-LX 231 turntable.

What sort of speakers would the massive recommend? I am sure I will need cables as well. I could take stuff from our system that has sat unused for years but Twin#1 will be wanting to claim at least our amp (Arcam) before long.

Anyone got anything suitable? I live in the Midlands but will be driving to Edinburgh next week if anyone lives near the route I'll be taking?

These *Linky* are superb for the money. You'll have to spend many hundreds more to get 'much' of an improvement.

Got to agree about the Q Acoustics although i've got a pair of Missions as well which aren't far off.

For Sale: Linn Katan, Linn Sizmik and Linn Trikan speakers. Also for sale my treasured Onkyo TX-SR608 AV Receiver.

All in very good condition. I bought them to upgrade my home theatre system, we then moved home and I have had to downgrade to a soundbar and sub unit (Devastated).

Speakers are all in colour: Cherry - Have a look on Google Images for pictures. If there's any interest I will take as many pictures as you require. There are no dents, scratched or major damage to the speakers and they have never been wall mounted so the screw holes in the back are as new. I did set them up in order tot test them and they all work 100%, they sound amazing obviously.

Onkyo TX-SR608 AV Receiver: £225 (Boxed with manuals etc)
