Actually, for a fun addition to your hifi, try a Graphic Eq. Go for one of the studio use names such as DBX and it will be a decent bit of kit too! Makes far more sense than toughing it out with no tone controls and not being happy with the tonal balance of your system - just because some soft git in a hifi mag says tone controls = bad.
I'm gonna get one, and put back some of that midrange my 770's are missing (and if I feel like being all audiophile, I can replace the op-amps with ultra low noise jobs!)
