I picked up this very tatty frame a while back - from one of my favourite makers. Easton RAD tubing so should be fairly tough but not too heavy.
It is designed for 26" wheels and v-brakes or hayes 22mm mount discs.
I rode around on it for a while as a drop bar 26er just to see if the hayes to flatmount adapter i bought actually worked. So, i have decided to build this up as my 1x11 650b rigid cross country bike for the summer.
I'm a fan of melding standards. So on go the flatmount brakes and the 650b wheels. Since i decided to go with the disc brakes i decided to rivet some cable guides on the underside of the downtube, to get rid of all the cable ties.
Anyway, a work in progress...
