Latest iteration with RC36 proclass2 forks, Easton carbon monkey bars, Hope mono mini brakes and some Hope hubs. Had to change the skewers from XTR to Hope as well.







In line with the growing red/yellow theme I’ve just changed the saddle to a black flite with you guessed it red/yellow details


Still haven’t applied the decals but will soon.

Then just looking for a fox float rear shock.

STS Decals for chainstays

I’m looking to replace the worn out/missing decals on the chain stay and seat stays on my ‘o8 1000DS.

Could anyone with good decals remaking please post some pics.

Regretfully letting one of mine go. It's a great frame,but I never ride it. It's also got a fox air shock with oem trunnion so lighter and a much better ride for it.

Take a look if you fancy taking a dive into the sts pool:

Got plenty of spares too.

Might sell my other one too (full betd bearing conversion, fox rear air shock with custom trunnion) and the version with the external routing for the seat tube.

Sad times but I've never ridden either since building.

Just got mine today.

This thread looks to have gone cold but reading back through there is so much useful info here. Is there still love for the STS?

I'm interested to hear what the differences are between the models. I see later ones having the carbon head rather than alloy. What else changed? I'd also like to know how to tell the difference between a 97 and a 98, a DH and a DS etc. Is there a definitive guide somewhere?
