mid-90s expresso a gift from a girlfriend... anything from my stumpjumper that could fit got moved over (aka dx). the rest pure pacific northwest. used exclusively for expeditions through neighbors flower gardens.

was off this thing for four or five years... back in the saddle.

maybe it just needs a tune-up but... breaking and shifting is not so smooth anymore.

if i wanted to put some money into it then what would one suggest? should i be looking at vintage xt? i had always planned on removing everything that wasn't pacific northwest in origin... new or old?

any suggestions welcome.

Its your bike, do you what you want but I think period XT and DX mix would be just the ticket, what year is it ? would have to be between 90 and 94 I would guess. If 93 onwards then a sprinkle of M900 XTR would also go very nicely
