Hate it. Periodically the demons return to torment my usually happy go lucky way of dealing with life.

Income - its ok, although I'm beginning to question the sanity of driving around at 5am after 11 hours.

Girlfriend - couldnt be better

Friends - down to about two good friends (forum not included), neither within pub distance. It doesnt help that a recent so called friend has migrated to my next door neighbours and doesnt even say hello!

So whats wrong? Childhood events dont help. Constantly reminded of things that really wouldnt make your day....

So here I am, on a forum full of loonies pouring my heart out...

Somebody slap me round the face!

Income pays the bills, keeps a roof over the head to spend time with your perfect partner, you are your own boss, friends come and go, mainly go into their own lives.

Doesn't sound lik eyou have it bad, you're just looking at the wrong areas.

Depression isn't necessarily about the negative things in ones life..

Dwelling on them can make the symptoms worse but people with seemingly idyllic lives can suffer too.
It's a physical illness.

Its a cyclical thing - not the highs and lows of bipolar but distinct peaks and troughs.

Maybe more roughage is required...

Cheer up. It could be worse :? You could be me

On a serious note. I've noticed that many pro cyclists also suffer from depression at some time in their life :(

If it comes and goes.then i suppose you just have to ride this one out :?
Remember :!: There is time,so just go out in the morning, put in some miles.Lunch and return
Perhaps even sell the majority of the bikes/radios/etc and nip over to Majorca for a weeks break in the sun.
Nice new swimwear for the G/F
I guarantee you'll have a ball ;)
