Confirmed this afternoon by my father, it was a Super Sports. He would have bought a Lenton Clubman but couldn't quite afford it. He changed the drop bars for flats pretty quickly. Photos to follow sometime maybe if my mother finds the correct album.Thanks to the Lentons in this thread I'm at last getting a lead on what model my father's old Raleigh was. I'm almost certain that it was a late 1940s Super Sport. Orange, Dynohub, 4-speed Sturmey.
