Thames Path ride (away from the city)

I live in Bexley & was wondering if anyone had a good (complete) Thames path cycle route. The reason I ask is because I was told a while ago that not alll the path is rideable. So wondered where the short cut / detours were to spend the least amount of time on the roads & the most amount of time on the Thames path.....

hi ,

i rode it few weeks . my mates started in the Morissons in Erith , at bottom of Northemburland heath , and rode all the way to Greenwich . I met them there and we rode back to Erith . it is all rideable , some bits are gravel , i was on a road bike but it was ok as not very long .
