Pretty pleased with the outcome to be honest. It rides well, looks great except for the blue grips and silver post, it'll be a good commuter/gravel muncher.

Will be taking it into the woods today, want to see if I actually can feel the difference of ride quality according to tubesets, I honestly doubt I'll be able to

Yeah it's nice. It's got a very subtle ride, seems to handle bumps very well. Come springtime I will try it with original bars and stem. But for now I'll ride it as is, it fits very well. I'm loving the cranks. Was vary of the quality but they're bombproof and they have that RF turbine feel to them, they actually feel better than my turbines

Much nicer.. removed the horrible oury grips.

They were incredibly uncomfortable as well, most be a retro pain loving thing, they were trash.

Looks classy. I like that seat post it interests me reminds me of an old sr seatpost I think ... however I agree black will make it just look so right !

I kind of wish I had put coasterbrakes on the Tech as well, starting to really dig them

I bet it rides softer than the surly. It can be a good but also a bad thing. Sometimes it´s better not to have choices.
