Just played around with spacing on the cassette and I reckon I can get a very nice chainline with my much wider q factor. No way I was keeping that nipple thin gap.

To me that gap is massive, I'd have made it narrower. Looks way more than a couple of mm's

Keep your "blue suede shoes" and drink more, they will grow on you.

Or go with the clown's attire, I would like to see the faces of all those well behaved Danes who are overtaken by you in the woods.

Not even sure I like the grips. I like the pedals, that's the only nice blue colour.

Found a different front wheel to test because I was tired of changing tyres. Very pleased. Now it is brake time!

Knock off Paul's installed on the rear, fiddly shite. Doing the front tomorrow. Test ride tomorrow, if my chainring bolts arrive.

Should have shortened the housing more at the end there but I can't be arsed to redo it. Next service time it'll be done

I would bend that V noodle inwards to get a better cable/noodle overall curve.
Or start with one bent more, you don't have to live with 90deg ones.

Yeah I'll look at it tomorrow, appreciate the input. Never been great at installing vs on canti frames
