Team Telekom Merckx MXL Discussion

Devout Dirtbag
Hi all,
I'm trying to chase down pictures/info on the Team Telekom Merckx MXL's that the team used in 1992-1994.
Anyone have any pictures of them being used in any stages? All I can find is the Merckx catalogue pics, but nothing else apart from 1 picture of the peloton at a standstill and a Telekom MXL is in the background.
What events did the team use them in? etc etc
Majority of pics that show Team Telekom from that era, they are using Corsa Extra and not Merckx MXL's.

Thanks, but that's a modern picture and the frame is not a team issue, just a consumer Merckx MXL.

I'm after actual race footage pics or team pictures of these bikes.

Thanks.

some telekom pics i had

Thanks. The top pic with Axel is good. Is that Campag C record with Dura Ace brakes? Must be because Deltas weigh more and don't stop as good.

Re:

Some early Deltas don't stop as good when badly setup. Later Deltas are sensational. Guy at the bike shop where I used to live in the States used Deltas to stop his Criterium Racing Tandem (Yup, some kind of nuts to race tandems in Criteriums...)

My last gen (Gen5?) Deltas are still incredibly good, wish I'd bought more than one set, they're stupid money now.

I got the generation 4 ones with the 4 pivot (gen 5 had 5 pivots) and even modified with the latest Campagnolo Record brake shoes its still no where near Dura Ace dual pivots or Record Skelton dual pivots as far as stopping power goes.
