Team Avalanche - Local Find

Looks exactly th same as my 20", Paul.. ;)

34" leg minimum, imho, if you want it to fit.

@ Mike - you're as much a Yorkshireman as I am an Oriental.

great find.....are you tall enough to ride it?.... :D

I appreciate the concern, but as it turns out, I am a bit over 6'1" and think the frame size will work out fine :)

Poked a post and saddle on and put some air in the tires. Front shifter feels like it has dried up, so it'll need a tear down. Otherwise, quiet, smooth and quite fantastic to ride......

That is an awesome find.

Seeing the rear spoke protector & wheel spoke reflectors gives even more hope of it not being ridden seriously.

Tioga post happened to show up on ebay just a couple days after I brought the bike home.

If it's not the original style post, it is, at least, very similar. Interesting to me is that it appears to be anodized? I don't know that I've really seen steel with an anodized finish before. Or, at least, I didn't know it when I did see it. Anyway, will probably get a powdercoat instead, as I have that option readily available ......

Not holding my breath on the rivet GT saddle. May end up with one of the modern retro-style rivet's that are all over the place .....
