Tamiya RC Cars

As long as the Wild Willy chassis has featured on a re-release then parts should be easier to get now. Having a quick look around though it seems the re-released WW had a different chassis?

right; WW1 and WW2 did not share much parts. WW1 parts are hard to get. But maybe with 3D printing aso. something had changed. As I lost connection to the RC market during the last years, maybe one over her know's better :)

for the wishbone I' m sure I'm gonna find a solution. Either plastic welding or a reinforcement with small alloy stripes and screws. YouTube is always a good source for such repair methods.

But then there are still the issue with tyres.

@magas Do you still have your instruction manual? if so, from that you can establish which part is broken, and its specific parts group reference - which you can then search online for.

I looked here https://tamiyabase.com/ for a digital build manual for my Beetle as mine is missing 6 or so of the central pages.

I have to dig for the instructions; but I should have them - as I have still most of the brochures (RC and non RC) from BITD. Thanks for pointing me to the Tamiyaclub.com 👍

+1 for tamiyaclub, I joined after the forum was recommended further up this thread

I have had very good transactions with Fusion Hobbies (there is a discount if you are on TC), and also modelsport. Haven't ordered from anywhere else in the UK, but from outside the UK both tamico (germany) and rcmart (Hong Kong) have been very good. You might get hit with customs/import/VAT/brexit charges in the UK though

that link to the pumpkin is a version without ESC, those are usually 25 to 30 quid to buy separately so this looks like a better deal:

https://www.fusionhobbies.com/product/58547-tamiya-midnight-pumpkin-black-edition
modelsport has it for 134 quid so a little more, still cheaper than kit plus separate ESC

It's worth keeping an eye on ebay and their 20% off deals as Fog models are included in the promotion and usually have some Tamiya available. That's where we got the Pumpkin from for £109.59. Came with ESC too.
