The old gold pan RC10 buggies have been re-released recently. Associated are a bit late to the rere game but what a thing!

I had a Tamiya Monster Beetle and a Hornet, I bought them but myDad had to build them for me as I lacked patience

Even bought a racing battery which lasted a whopping 8 mins if I remember correctly.

I remember building the Hornet, it was a Christmas present for a young lad I looked after as an Au pair when I first came to live in the UK in 1990.
I actually bought and build the Castrol Jaguar (like mine) for myself to have some fun with. Admittedly the Hornet was a bit more fun as it was an off road buggy which could tackle more diverse terrain. The Castrol Jaguar was nice to look at though.
