most parts (when I can) I hold in my hands while I paint! Here, the fork legs had the taped up lower lugs to hold on to.
 
Yes I know ... I could have used a simple bloody coin for it. But I didnt want to! I wanted to build me some silly tools for that job :)

Re-installing the legs into the crown was a super-bitch! Especially with a fresh and new paint! Theyre SO tight in, its crazy.

I actually really need to put these on another bike! They're wasting away in a bin right now, as the Marin became the missus's bike and these were just way too nice for that!
