suspension fork 220mm steerer

hi,
I'm building an old rockhopper circa 1996 for a young lad as he can't afford a bike of his own. Using spares from freinds and colleagues. However we don't have a suspension fork with a long enough steerer.

So I need to buy a used one. I'm looking for a low cost suspension fork with a steerer of at least 220mm - its large size frame we have.

I may be able to help, I have some Suntour forks which came of a mid 90's 19" rockhopper, will have to measure when I get home.
