suspension corrected rigid fork convertion

All alloy forks are fairly unusual. I suspect that the problem may be the steerer flexing and so moving the headset bearings. Also check the front QR is good and tight.

i have checked the headset and QR on the front wheel and both are nice and tight. i can see the legs flexing so think its that.

its just something i have got used to now as i ride about 330 miles a month commuting back and forth to work.

Longer rigid forks are 'suspension corrected' and take sag into account.

Most manufacturers list the 425mm for 80mm travel forks, the 445mm for 100mm travel forks and the 460 something for 130mm travel and 29ers.

Of course, not all manufacturers are equal.
