The dreaded day has come. The wife wants a bike.

Over the last few weeks the kids and her have been joining me on a few scenic rides. After struggling to ride her 100% pure steel monster I persuaded her to ride mine. :roll:

I now have a problem. I can't choose a frame. I only know what I like. Any suggestions!! What do your better halves ride. Any ladies out there with a favorite.

She is 5'7 the rides will mainly be tracks (I have a double trailer to drag around) Could do with a light but cheap build after all she might chuck it in a month or two.

Are you 5'7" as well Dan? If you are get her a bike that you'd like. Then if she doesn't like it you can take it off her hands. Job done!

good idea but i'm 6'2. Just missed out on a nice kona fire in green last night. Stopped bidding on it when she said "you can respray it my choice of colours can't you". it looked to good to strip, so left it.
