As pointed out earlier, this bike ran into something pretty solid, like a car. I have seen this many times. A front wheel is very strong if the hit is straight on, the fork blades will bend evenly just like this one. The top oval part of the fork blade is stronger so the fork bends where the round part begins. If the fork doesn't give like this one, then the frame will at the top and down tubes, just behind the head lugs.
