Strange campagnolo crankset

(My quote function not working🙄)

These cranks were fabricated in more of a machine shop environment by skilled workers, at an astonishing price, whereas more modern components are more factory mass-produced and consequently a lot cheaper in real terms.
(and mechanically superior, dare I add😉)

I will check that. But I have yet to remove them - it look to me like they have never been serviced.
Do they open the same way as “normal” BSA BBs? In the back of my head I know something about older French/italian bearings with different threading? But I cannot put my finger on it.
For now I put some wd40 on it
It is not bearing that have threading, but cups - if your bike is British than should be usual BCA threads - you can look on the cups markings - it should say 1.37 x 24. In a British style (BSA) bottom bracket, the drive-side cup (right side) has a left-hand thread, meaning it tightens counterclockwise, while the non-drive side (left side) has a right-hand thread, tightening clockwise; essentially, the drive side is reverse threaded compared to the non-drive side.
