If it was stolen from outside the Tate Britain, I could have told you with some level of certainty where that had ended up, as a few bikes from outside my work have ended up being stolen by the same people, but sadly I don't know much about the Tate Modern crime syndicates.

I'll keep my eye out for your bike though - gutted for you and really brings home how much personal value/sentiment there is in a bike, whether you owned it from new, or it is new to you.

Odd as it sounds I hope the thieving gits realise what they have.

I'd hate it to end up as some chavs bike for cycling round an estate that he's paid somebody enough money for a tenner bag of smack.

More chance of finding it as well if they try to sell it properly.

I was also thinking cctv but its going to be a vid of your bike riding away with someone in dark clothing.

I would put an advert under bikes for sale on ebay as it has to be the biggest captive audience with bike stolen and list the details for 10 days !!

Frame only recovered by police.

Could not believe my luck and have to say police were extremely helpful.

Now looking for a new home as I don't have space for another FAT
