Great transformation!

I love the fact that a race-bred machine was adapted and used as a utility bike. Many just get hung-up and die a slow death in a shed/garage.

Now it's ready to be raced again!

Kudos for recognising what it was (and could be) underneath the rack and rather pedestrian chain set. The resto is lovely.

Superb repaint . Seen a US FAT Ti being used with a kiddy seat fitted. Better they are enjoyed and they can handle it. I also have the decal on my Yo driveside and prefer it but its a stick on. Enjoy

Thanks! I hoped there was something special hiding under the random parts. The only bit I kept was the seat post. I'm going to try a similar restoration with an 89 Roberts Phantom I found in a similar state. It's been repainted but needs building.

The Yo looks great, really good job.

Having said that I quite liked it as a low key commuter. Something about a frameset of that quality and pedigree dressed down as a workhorse that appeals.

That Roberts is amazing for similar reasons, although not so low key.
