These "my cantis suck" posts always make me scratch my head. I ran low pro XT and XTRs on my DS bikes BITD. Hell, I'd use my A2X for short course DH races a few times a season. Aztec, Kool Stop, Ritchey, Shimano. They all stopped the bike more than quick enough if you took the time to set your straddle cables up to match the leverage ratio of your levers and got yor pad angles in the ballpark.
