I’ve recently converted my instagram to a professional account which gives you lots of stats on content.

Bearing in mind this is solely retro bike content , does this fit what age and gender you consider to be fans of our hobby?

For me it was spot on.

It also shows why my wife couldn’t tell you how many bikes are in my garage. It’s there in black and white - women don’t care for old crap bikes.

I’d guess 0.1% may be the business accounts or ones without a gender on their account.

I’m also guessing that many in your age group may not use Instagram. I bet if we did the same comparison on tiktok it would have little people over 40

What's the other 0.1%?!

Worrying only 6.3% in my bracket. I assume the rest are now too old or infirm to own a bike! 🤣
Don't you mean 6.4%, or you accounting for one of them already passing away in this time??? 🤣

Surprised at the 35-44 being the highest traffic, but guess they embrace social media more and guess us retro grouches start loving retro at quite a young age!

Yes. Quite possibly.

I don't do tick-face or any of that stuff. Im still outraged when people text me without good reason!

I still answer the phone saying "hello" as prescribed by Mr Edison. Apparently, thsts not done now either....as you obvs (which i believe is slang for obviously) know who on the phone, you just start talking. Seems rude to me, but hey!

Also, a phone is apparently no longer used for "phoning". My niece now claims that im about the only person she personally knows who now phones her and talks.

I just find that sad....like to hear a voice and a typed message shares no emotion or feeling.....hence these little buggers...😕🤣.
