Spotted on the street

I was visiting Barcelona last weekend and spotted several classics, ridden and chained up. I only took these pictures though!

The most common old steel bikes I saw were Peugeots, Merciers and a few Orbeas, all in pretty good nick considering their age. A dry climate helps I'm sure.

Tidy Bobet (a branded Mercier).

Lots of fixie conversions out there, sawn off hangers and all.

Interesting Razesa.

That's very original for a bike
"in service"

I'd put a note on to warn that the lock could be snapped in 1 second by someone wanting to save themselves the bus fare. 🙁

But maybe there aren't any buses?

The number of people who've said to me
"I don't know why they stole it, it wasn't worth anything"
And what was the lock?
"... oh one of those cables"

They knicked it to ride home (or to the dealer obvs😉), then dumped it in the street.
