StumpJumper Comp 1990 17" frame for sale (US model)
Includes XT U brake, XT Cartridge BB (seems smooth), Specialized 1" headset, Specialized Stem and handle bars + original grips which looks like they have been cut down a bit. The original Kalloy seat post is also included. Also included are the original brake and gear cables including cable housings. Original Selle Italia Turbo Saddle & Original Front XT M730 Mech
The bike was used for parts I required (A complete shame I know, so I do apologise to specialized bike lovers). However because these are great bikes in their own right I have decided to do a part restoration on the paint work to freshen and clean it up. Overall the frame was in great condition with very minimal rust. The frame has been cleaned and has had a re-spray using a close colour match. Because the original decals were ok these were masked of during the re-spray so areas of the original paint can be seen close to the decals. After the final paint coat and paint rub down clear top coat has been applied including over the original decals.
To be clear this is not a total paint restoration this has been a re-spray to remove any chips and small rust areas caused by chips. However the frame looks great and is very useable and would be a great retro build.
