I have a 98/9 Rockhopper frame but alloy not steel.
Do you have any pics and a price?
I have one pic of it fully built up when I got it. All I've done is strip it not ride it so condition is the same.
The paint work is pretty scruffy as was common on these, the paint just didn't seem to stick very well, and the previous user commuted on it so it's covered in reflective stickers too. It doesn't owe me much and to be honest I don't have the time to do anything with it so it won't be expensive.
As it is it has no headset, but it does have a bottom bracket (no idea if it's serviceable so let's treat that as a freebie), it has the original seat clamp, and removable mech hanger (which is loose), and I'll include the original stem (it's really long, as they were)
I can supply as is or I can include for additional cost all sorts of other parts, if you're interested and of course with combined postage would be cheaper. I've got the original LX front mech and sti's although for some reason one is silver and the other is the blue/grey colour, I have the Marz forks in the picture but to be honest you can have them for nothing in the box if you like as I have no idea if they are any good or not. I have no other original parts from the bike but I do have one set of Avid v brake arms, one set of M750 XT brake arms, a Deore rear mech (in the pic), and various odd's and sods.
Let's say £30 for the frame with BB, rear hanger, stem, and forks if you want them. You can let me know if there is anything else you need. Oh and I do have still in the packet another mech hanger I can throw in for a fiver.
