Specialized M2 owners........ '92 seat post size...??

I'm going to start on my '92 Specialized M2 frame build and wanted to ask other owners for some guidance on seat post size..... Vernier's show 26.52mm but I'm sure they were 26.8mm but am now thinking maybe 26.6mm ? Tried a 26.4mm and that has a good amount of wiggle room. Anyone able to check theirs or know for sure on size before I purchase a seat post....

I checked on my spreadsheet, but I don't have the seatpost size recorded for my old one.

Pretty sure it’s a 26.8
