Specialized Cross/touring Frame

Does anybody has some information about the frame below?

The seller told me that it was some kind of team replica, but I can't seem to find any information about a Specialized team with said livery.

Seems to be a low-mid end CX or touring frame which I intend to build as a winter beater/CX bike.

Looks like a fairly standard Tri-Cross, that zebra effect paint was used by the Aqua-Sappone Pro Team who Mario Cipollini rode for, I suspect that around the same time lots of Specialized's got that paint effect.

I suspect that livery was intended to make the opponents dizzy so they would fall of their bikes

Good to know, I suspected it was a bit older than ~2002, but works for me. The frame was super cheap anyway

Does anyone know where I can find a new dropout? It seems the previous owner rode without one. Picture attached.

Any Specialized shop will be able to get one or any shop really as there are aftermarket ones available quite readily.
Is that a crack in the dropout?
Most likely be fine once the hanger plate is bolted in and the axle tightened. Just check it for sure.
