Beautiful bike. I read your build thread a while back. Helmut was a good guy and very accommodating to us cycle couriers. Remember his shop on Robert street in Camden. He repaired a ribble frame for my partner and it was better than new.

Thanks, but the TT is too long, I could ride it but I wouldn't be able to walk once I got to the end of the journey.

I know the feeling all too well!!!

You're right, I tend to do most my miles on a fairly upright 1x commuter, or a hybrid. In all honesty I have never been flexible enough or found enough joy in being over-stretched on a skinny tyred, under-geared road bike anyway, and I can no longer take the hits on an MTB, but that's OK, I still ride for fun.

It's about 22.5-23.0. A shade too big for me in reality.

Quite a small head tube for a frame that size at first glance
