Somebody looking..Attitude-93 Gator (never ridden)

The looks and the paint were a very important part of what Klein offered and this seems to me to be a valid work of art. If a small number of owners want to preserve some of their Kleins in a pristine state so that future generations can see what they looked like straight out of the factory, then I think that's quite nice.

OK, if it meant there was a shortage of Kleins to ride, it would be a problem, but in fact many thousands of Kleins were built and almost all of them were ridden. And there certainly wasn't and isn't a shortage of bikes to ride - on the contrary, unfortunately there was a shortage of buyers and that's why they had to sell the company.

I don't know Tintin, first you interfere with a nun with your handlebar and now you go even lower and abuse Carsten. Are there *any* depths to which you won't sink? ;)

I´m building my second Klein now...still not sure if I dare to use it?
They just are somekind of art to me also...

If I had money to buy NOS Klein with NOS parts, I definetly would´t use it!

Think of it like this:

If no-one keeps garage queens then these bikes would all disappear in time.

Seems silly to ride something so immaculate and rare. Especially when they aint getting manufacturered any more....

jez-2-many-bikes" What are adults pleasures Tin Tin? You are freaking me out now. :D[/quote said:
 Sorry didn't mean to do that. Now its freaking me out a bit

 Sorry not really. I'm a civil servant. And i sit at a desk all day. I agree with you their plenty of Kleins out there. Its not that hard to find one. Trimbles now your talking

OH, that Gator is sooo nice! This is the same guy that I bought the Team Storm from and he's very dependable seller. A top notch guy really. Seems to sell off his Klein collection, as a Backfire Adroit was sold a while ago too...

Maybe it's because I'm colour blind...

I've never liked the Gator paint job. I'm sure I'm in the minority here but it's never done anything for me at all.

Just looks like sick...

Wrong colour mix maybe?...

Yep, I think some people are crazy !!

It is a lovely frame, and off course very rare, because it is new....but that price??

There was anotherone on e-bay, a 92 attitude, re-painted in 95, sold yesterday for $3051,- ????

The chance to get one for a fair price becomes smaller and smaller :(

Yep its madness what some people will pay for a paint job. Theirs a Trimble that i think the owner would sell for that sort of silly money. Just because of the paint oh and its bit rare. Its like most things in life their are 'ups' & 'downs' I wish i could find a watch collector to pay that sort of monay for my vintage watch :)
