Complaints?

Remember we at retrobike supply these adverts free of charge as a service to buyers and sellers. Although we will try to assist in case of problems ultimately this must be sorted between buyer and seller. If this is an issue suggest you use a service like http://www.ebay.co.uk. where there is more comeback.

If you feel you need to make a complaint to a mod please supply the following information

1. Are you buyer or seller.
2. Other username.
3. Item and price paid.
4. Link to original advert.
5. Nature of complaint.
6. How have you contacted other user. PM, email, phone ?

Dont know if Jon would rather one complaint with a list of everybody involved or evrybody to send a individual one?

I'm waiting for the XT M737 cranks to arrive, which I sent a cheque for on the 3rd of December.
I've got his address, so I'll send him a letter/Christmas card and hope he gets back to me. I'll keep you posted.

Crouch, I've sent a letter. At least that way if something has happened (hopefully not) then we should hear back from someone, and if we don't hear back I suppose that's the way with some online buying unfortunately.

I think it's getting time for some concerted action. Has anybody actually received anything yet?

Is it worth writing some letters to him and/or his missus politely (genuinely) asking where our stuff is?

If no reply then we may have other options (small claims etc).

Hopefully this is just a 'no communication issue' rather than anything malicious, but I can't just sit around doing nothing.

Hmmm...

If he's getting cheques made out to other people then presumably he doesn't have a bank account( not that that means anything) but that coupled with no items turning up must surely be cause for concern?

I agree, sitting doing nowt isn't really getting anyone anywhere. I will write a letter to the address given to me, other than that though I dunno what the best plan is... never been in this situation before...
