sun came out this a.m. so I took it for a shakedown - nice vintage ride.

1994 was nickel plated (in the UK) and didn't have mudguard mounts on the forks. Can you put up the frame number? It should start with a 'U' the first digit being the year.

U50204056 5 is 1994 as well as 4 I believe

Thanks - That's a 1995. Bit more searching on here and I've found an identical one with a slightly earlier frame number to yours:

Claimed this the other day, I thought it was a tange as it was super light and bare steel, bit like the merlin frames of BITD. I needed to get it home in my panniers so I removed the fork and then noticed the magenta paint on the fork steerer, upon closer inspection I notice more of the same...
