Colnago ...Here we go again 70th anniversary and in steel. 70 made.

Specialized current range includes a S Works Tarmac SL8 for £14,500, not much price difference, you can probably even buy as many as you want.

For me a road bike with disc brakes is awful 🤦‍♂️ As it’ll have fat tyres to boot 🤦‍♂️
I’m sure they’ll be rich 🐑 who’ll buy this..but won’t be lighting my spark anytime soon

No mudguard eyelets - unbelievable.

I actually quite like it, but the pricing is barmy. You are getting close to custom Bastion Road money…

Rear mech is fugly, but I like the rest. While I'll not be buying it, the pricing doesn't seem unreasonable given the rarity and brand heritage.

That amount of money is downright immoral. I know it's aimed at proper merchant bankers (rhyming slang) but it filters down.

Saw an article in CW rabbiting on about "reasonably" priced entry level bikes, a snip at €5000. They seemed to be actually serious about how "affordable" they are.

It's a weird concept for a steel build. I don't think it works in any respect, but it will probably be a sell out with the Colnago faithful. I do like steel Colnago bikes myself, but surely it's an idiot, or an ' investor' who would shell out for this? It's pug ugly to boot!
