Hi there!
As per title, another jewel of my collection has now to go. This time my beloved 1992 Klein Attitude Horizon Linear Fade is looking for a warm new home.
Talking about the bike, just say its conditions are very good in general. Owned it three years ago from another forum member, and since that I took her for some easy going rides and photoshoots, staying the rest of time on my leaving room...
It wears a very nice full Shimano XTR m900 groupset, and some NOS bits, like front tyre and saddle. Just ready to put your pedals on, and go.
Frame: In very good conditions, with no scratches, dings, cracks or dents, just a little bit rub of cable hoses that are now protected with clear rubber protectors.
Regarding the paintwork. This bike has its ORIGINAL paint. As the fading proccess started on the neon colour, there are two parts on which you can see the loss of intensity. Right chain stay became light blue, and as I´ve been using larger grips and thumbies, the colour difference is there on the bars now that it has Shimano STI´s and shorter grips. Not a big issue, but I want you all to be awared of that.
Bike check is as follows:
- Fuselage: Klein Attitude HLF frame (M size or 20"), MC1 stem-bar combo, Klein forks.
- Seatpost: Titec Aluminum
- Saddle: Selle Italia Mythos Vanadium (NOS-NIB)
- Seat binder: Shimano XTR m900
- Shift-brake levers: Shimano XTR m900 STI
- Cantis: Shimano XTR m900
- Brake shoes: Shimano XTR m900
- Front mech: Shimano XTR m900
- Rear derailleur: Shimano XTR m900
- Cassette: Shimano XTR m900 8spd 12-28
- Cranks: recently polished Shimano XTR m900, 26-36-46
- Front wheel: Mavic 231 rim laced to Shimano XTR m900 hub. Shimano XT skewer. NOS IRC MythosXC tyre.
- Rear wheel: Mavic 231 rim laced to Shimano XTR m900 hub. IRC MythosXC tyre (in very good conds) Shimano XT skewer
Price for this museum piece is 2.200€ (euro). Shipment to UK/EU is EXCLUDED from this price.
I will not split, and also won´t hear absurd offers. I think it´s more than clear we´re talking about a very special bike.
I will accept bank transfer and PayPal as payment method. If interested, please dibs here then followed by PM.
Many thanks to all of you for watching and sharing between your retro-colleagues.
Cheers
Josh
