There's a guy who has posted on this very thread, and said that he wants the frame. He was bidding on it, and you beat him to it.

Do the decent thing, and sell it to him instead of wrecking it for absolutely no reason whatsoever. You get your money back, you keep the respect of a lot of fellow Retrobikers who think it's a bit pointless that you're thinking of destroying it in the first place, and you make another Retrobiker's day.

? who, the same guy thats suggesting using it as a bullbar?

I predict that Si will open the box with a lump hammer poised in ones hand. One look at the frame and that hammer will drop out of his limp grasp as true love strikes. Soon we shall see the rest of Si's fleet for sale as the one one becomes his sole bike..

Stranger things have happened!

We really have lost the point here.

I bought the frame to take it out of circulation- just like HM Customs seize fake crap, this one is now out of circulation. The Fat name is preserved from some muppet from painting it up and daubing Fat Chance decals all over it.

The purpose of the thread was to see wether it gets destroyed or not. Whatever happens its not going to see the light of day again. If it doesnt get trashed my children will drag it out of the loft with the rest of my crap and send it to the tip on my passing at some point in the future.

Giving it to charity, away as a prize or to someone who didn't bid for whatever reason isn't going to make this frame go away is it?

Lets draw a line under it now. I'm bored and as usual its getting personal.

Let the frame drift into the mists of time and memory.

Si

Ps, Rob, i will email you a short film ;)

Si, will you be making the Anglian meet in Jan?

It would be interesting to meet you and so all this discussing could be done in person. Presumably by then too the frame's fate would have been decided.

Top noting TP.

A confusing fate for the frame.

Why the confusion? Did you not campaign for its survival?

I can run over it with the van now if you prefer?

The reason it is now offered for sale is because due to the bitching, sniping, pointless arguments etc that constantly occupy this site, have have completely lost any love for bikes new or old. Personally i could not give a f*** what happens to this frame. I'm offering it here, for sale, to give anyone fair chance of owning it. If it fails to sell it will go in the skip with all the other stuff that remains unsold.

Agreed. it also seems odd that someone who hates on one is trying to make almost triple his money on one of there frames he swore never to let see day again.

His life I guess. Does seem like a bad show for someone who claims to hate the company though. Looking for such a huge prophit margin when so many have seen the threads the frame has been on. Both stating the price. I think it'd only be fair to sell on at the exact price it cost. Prophet hunting is only a good thing when no one knows what youve paid. Your a customer selling to a customer for around a 280% prophit.

Just my thoughts.
