Smooth welded alretro bikes- like a cannondale but different

I like the smooth lines of cannondales- Aluminium but without the chunky welds. Who else did something like that back in the day (also in aluminium).

I think Peugeot did something where the weld was on the inside rather than outside so no evidence of a weld, but but smooth like the two mentioned.

Interesting about the Peugeot, will look into that. Yes klein's do fit the bill, but a bit spendy for me!

I'd say a Klein pulse 1 or 2 shouldn't be too far off, pricewise.

There are several german brands, that smoothed their aluminium frames. But they are costly, too. Fuchs, Juchem...

And didn't American smooth their welds,too?

I've got an MTB Cycletech aluminium frame with smooth welds. It must date from the late 80s or early 90s because it had full 730 series xt on it.
