Had to stop off at our local scip yard(work related) the other day and noticed a road bike sitting at the back in good condition bar needing new tyres.........
Asked one of the guys about it and he just said take it away!
Anyway it's been resprayed a nice shade of blue at some point, quite a nice job actually. I think it's a raleigh sirrocco from looking at various images online. Fitted with excellent condition shimano arabesque parts, galli wheels(must have been fitted at a later date, I don't know much about these) and a bontrager saddle, the only thing not so nice is a shimano altus rear derailleur has been fitted at some point so must find something nicer.
I'm giving it a bit of a tidy and service(new tyres/cables) at the moment and will post some pics up asap.
Wish I knew why someone would put it in a skip :roll:
