Single Chainset questions

Just been doing a little research and I think
its 130mm

Just get the deore lx ones from crc. Gives you options then.

I'd agree with that, esp. as it comes with BB... then sell the three supplied rings as a new set (or keep and fit a front mech!) and buy a good quality 34/36t ring and a bashring / chain device

You need to check the bolt circle diameter on the cranks to determine the smallest chainring you can fit. These look like 130mm BCD so smallest you can fit is 39 teeth, or 34 if they are 110mm.

110bcd will take a 33t FYI, not that I've ever seen a 33t!

And 104 can take a 30t.
