Simoncini mountain bikes

I've got the chance to buy a Simoncini mountain bike. Never heard of their MTBs before although I know they're a good quality road bike maker. Frame is very scratched, the top tube cables run inside the tube and it's all Deore DX/STX kit so am considering it just for the parts, but does anyone have any views on these bikes.

Had a an oria aluminium frame nice and light, was a little too big for me mind.

Build up as 5 speed commuter whilst living in London with crap wheels but was still light.

I think they're alright and it only cost 10 quid for the frame so cannot complain.

I think there's a photo of it in the work bike thread somewhere. Fantastic Cadbury purple colour but the paint was chipped to hell.

MTB

Dont know much about their MTB's but knowing the road stuff and the small dedicated workshop they come out of, I think it would be built to a high standard.
Got to be worth a look
