Needed to ‘whip’ the BB out as either the bearings were buggered or the axle was undersized as I was getting play Plus the chain line was wrong.

Massive thanks to @jonrock for lending me the tool

Seems the bearings were buggered but all sorted now

Just need to sort the brakes and gears, reduce the chain length, source a suitable chain stay protector, pump up the tyres and take it for a spin now

And maybe the front mech height.
They’re Biopace rings so I erred on the side of caution but can probably get away with lowering it a few more mm.

I’ll see if I get any front mech rub after shortening the chain…

Frantically trying to get this finished tonight.

Off to bed.

Rear brake roller cam is binding on one side. Sanded the brake boss, refitted the roller brake, same thing happened. Will try a thicker spacer under the brake boss bolt but for now I’ve stuck the arm in a load of degreaser and will see if that clears it up - am hoping it’s just a bit of gunk in the brass.

No test ride tomorrow - just regular ride on the SB120
