Had a bit of a fettle this afternoon…
Started with the Strong seatpost
Switched it out for an IRD
Switched it back because the Strong looked better.
Original plan was a white turbo but I think the Rolls looks pretty classy

Need to sort some original cables and outers, plus set up the brakes and gears and sort the play in the BB and hubs - but feels like I’ve broken the back of it.

Tho the bars are bent so I either need to try to straighten these ones or source another pair

Also smashed through a load of my NOS Deerhead stock tho which wasn’t really the plan with this build

But those black Deerhead thumbies sure do look sweet on that bar

Roller cam brakes
Pretty sure these are the Suntour XC Sport 7000 rollers.
Anyone know if they are supposed to have left and right springs? I’m guessing they do

100% will have left & right handed springs, in the same way cantilevers and V brakes do as they rotate in opposite directions.

I love a roller cam brake. The ultimate retro-brake for me. Good luck setting them up. Nothing to be scared of...

As for the model of yours, they look like 7000s...
