Sorry but that is a 1993. I also know that for a very fact, because one day in summer 1993 my then best friend came with this bike brand new. From the local MTB dealer of our town. His parents were juwelers and he could simply grab into the cash register literally anytime he wanted to - and we were 13 years old! I was so mad and jealous at the same time - sportin my black/purple TREK 970 back then :-D I remember it was about 3.000 Deutschmarks and mine was like 879. I THINK he even had it upgraded with a full XTR m900 group set back then when he bought it- making it even WAY more expensive
