Finally finished my Alu SBIKE XTR M900 build with Original fork

No idea on the alu frames (there are no official numbers and for some reason I never weighed my 728's frame), but my 508 frame is around 2650g without BB or headset. That's a steel one, and a small. Add a bit for medium and large due to the extra seat tube length and the extra 20mm of the main tube.
My 728 (full XT groupset, XT hubs with Ambrosio CC22 rims, the Sbike Alu/Ti fork) was 12.0kg, so around 26.5lbs.
964boy's 729 (full XTR) is 11.0kg IIRC, which translates to 24.2lbs.
Both bikes measured with M730 pedals attached, by the way. If you go the weight weenie route, getting near or below 22lbs shouldn't be too hard.
Of course a lot depends on the fork. If you can't get your hands on the Alu/Ti fork, you'll have to go the carbon route or find something equally trick. The Cro-Moly Sbike fork (I happen to have one for sale) isn't too heavy, but it's still Cro-Moly so we're talking 855g
