My 1990 970 I picked up over the Christmas period

1989 970 frame I built up for my son in law. Nothing original on there, I got it as a frame and fork, partially stripped. Since added white seat and grips, per customer request. Glorious ride.

Most recent project, a mostly-done 1990 930 I got on Facebook for $45. My "April 19" project, a fine bike to ride home after an interesting day at the lab. There was a fair amount of rust bubbling up the paint in a couple of places. Got carried away with the sanding and next thing ya know, I have a purple bike Most of the components were salvageable. A little heavier than my 970 and my '96 930, probably most of that is in the wheels and tires. Still, a sweet ride.

This is a special one: Gulf livery Trek 8000 with mix of XTR, XT and Dura Ace. Frame is a bit weak with the XT V's so added brake arches front and rear improving the brakes drastically, especially with the DA brifters. Switchblade fork to make it complete. Great bike.

I m starting a restoration on a singletrack 970 from 1992. It was in a pretty bad shape when I bought it, but almost complete and as it was in 1992.
I did a light first work on it and tested it in a 2 hours ride. I still have a lot to do on it, but what a great geometry!
